Echo point to Cynthia Bay
Took a ferry to Echo Point which made you realise how big Lake St Clair is.
This walk covers a small section of the Overland track and winds its way along the lake, across tree roots, lots of mud, fallen down trees. Only 10 kms but involved a lot of clambering so was very tiring. My knees held up!
On our return, lovely hot sourdough bread had been delivered to our rooms, so we gorged on that with lovely cheeses which made up part of the larder in every room
Another lovely three course dinner with a sunset to boot.
