Xmas time at Suss’s

Today we went to Centennial Park. It was a bit muddy from the overnight rain but there were SO many bits of grass to try and dig a hole in, it was really pleasurable. Suss had company on the walk so while they jabbered away, I sneaked in the odd hole-dig. Suss’s friend Sally is a good patter

Then the rain set in, so we had to stay indoors for the afternoon. But I knew Suss would give me another walk and I had planned a series of stops to see if I could interest her in another sport ( since she won’t let me play golf).

I tried to interest her in a bit of gym equipment first…

She showed no interest in that, so then I moved onto basketball…..

That didn’t work. So then I tried tennis….

and finally, cricket…..

in the process of traversing the cricket pitch, I found the most tempting piece of grass to dig up

On the way home, I found a playmate…after a couple of good sniffs, we went on our way

Hmmmm….perhaps I’ll give golf another try tomorrow.
