Two more sleeps till Xmas
Suss has mixed some yummy chicken into every meal so far. And it’s not even Xmas or an extra special day, so I am getting very excited as to what EXTRA treats I might score on Xmas day. Only two sleeps before I find out….
Anyway there’s a bit of a Christmassy feel around Kingsford. When we go for a walk (and when I am not finding something to pee on or a white tissue to eat), I’ve noted some nice decorations. Lots of blow-up Santas and ribbons galore. Even the council has gone to the trouble of decorating their garbage bins. Impressive, don’t you think

Not sure whether this statue has been put there for Xmas but I see a major flaw in it. How can she play the viola (mummy, did I correctly identify the instrument?) without a bow? Even a dog knows that the bow is important

Today was an excellent day. I met old friends and made some new ones.
Was thrilled to see Tilly and her mum Betsy.

The only issue I have with Tilly ( or rather maybe it’s an issue she has with me) is that I like to drink water from a running tap and she likes to drink water from the bowl into which the running tap goes. So we have to take turns when we get drinks. She lets me go first! (Or perhaps I use my bigness to push her out of the way).
Anyway, we got to have a rest when we reached Coogee. There’s a lovely bench for the humans, and some nice scratchy bark chips for me and Tilly.

Near the end of the walk, there’s a small cafe which makes bacon and egg rolls and sausage rolls ( as well as coffee). I didn’t mind stopping there as I hoped that Betsy or even James might throw me a bit of sausage. That was not to be so I tried the table next to us. Lovely lady but all she wanted to do was to pat us…no food in sight.

I thought Tilly was a bit rude, poking her tongue at the lady, but who am I to judge?
Anyway, need to go to sleep now so that Xmas is closer….

He could have come with us as there are pet friendly cabins. But alas
Nobby, it would be polite to let Tilly go first next time you are having a drink together. On another note, I don’t know HOW many times I have tried to teach you the difference between a viola and a cello. We are going to have to have some remedial lessons. You are right about the missing bow though.
Give Suss a big kiss for me! And stop eating tissues on your walks.
