The Pantzers in Aspen

July 4: Aspen

Travel day for the Pantzers yesterday. Warren and Diana travelled from Lisbon. I travelled from New York.

Before leaving NY, I got to have breakfast with The Carlyle’s hotel manager and her partner Brian. They are Aussies and have been in NY for about 8 years.

Arrived Aspen around 8 pm. OMG it’s so deliciously cool. But things at the Pantzer household are not so delicious! The 40 year old car won’t start ( well if you’d been neglected for 7 months, you’d also rebel), the wifi is down so no internet ( hence very peaceful in a digital free environment), we had to strongarm our way into the supermarket (which was just closing) to get some essential supplies (like milk!) and one of the verandah doors is stuck. So warren has got his work cut out for him over the next few days!

As Robyn and Sam will remember, there’s a lovely July 4 parade through Aspen. Even the dogs get into it

And there’s street music throughout the town. As I write this I am listening to a talented street violinist (yes, yes Sam…I know you hate violinists) and a rock band is about to start on the village green

Sending this now to make use of town wifi rather than pantzer non wifi!!!

I don’t mind a talented violinist. But there are few in this world 😊

Oh dear! And then oh well! It is what it is.
If you ever get Netflix back look for Justin William who is a fabulous comedian/magician – runs for about an hour
    Love you all ❤️
